Summary: The photos don't really do justice to the apartment. It is very attractive in a modern way and well-furnished. Very comfortable beds. Effective air conditioning. Kitchen has everything you would need but in this location you have so many choices for excellent food in many ranges and all at pretty reasonable prices for the middle of a leading tourist city. The location is exactly as stated: right off the end of the Ponte Vecchio bridge. There's no view from the apartment because it faces the interior of the block, but that eliminates the street noise. Within 15 minutes you can walk to the furthest of the key attractions. Gianni, our host, was super helpful.and all his suggestions were great experiences. The one thing you have to know about is the dreaded ZTL (limited traffic zones). As a non-resident you check your car into one of the approved garages (Gianni's recommended Garage Lungarno is highly efficient) but it has to stay there until you leave. (You really don't want to drive in Florence anyway). The garage will.send you detailed instructions when you book your space.
